Juan Pablo Añor selected for Venezuela

The ‘Juvenil’ player from Málaga Club de Fútbol’s La Academia has been chosen by coach, César Farías for the first time, for a meeting on 1st February in Madrid, ahead of the South American 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s youth player, Juan Pablo Añor, has been selected by the Venezuela national team, for a meeting taking place on 1st February in Madrid.

National team coach, César Farías, chose the 18 year-old attacking midfielder for a FIFA work module on 6th February, looking ahead to the South American 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

Juanpi Añor is having a fantastic season with La Academia’s ‘Juvenil División de Honor’.  As well as being one of the captains, he’s scored 11 goals for the team, racking up 20 matches undefeated, and in third place in the table.

The young Venezuelan-born player took part in the under-20’s South American tournament in Argentina this month, where he scored one goal and set up another.  This isn’t the first time Añor has played for his country, as he participated in the under-17’s South American tournament in Ecuador last year.  This time, Venezuela’s national team is counting on a Málaga CF La Academia player.
