The Sports Disciplinary Committee has announced the fines issued to players in the 22nd BBVA League match. Martín Demichelis has been given a one-match ban after he was sent off in Sunday’s match against Mallorca.
Málaga Club de Fñutbol’s Argentinean-born player was awarded a yellow card in the first half of the match at the Iberostar Stadium, and 20 minutes before full time, referee Velasco Carballo gave him a red card.
The ‘Malaguista’ defender will not be included in the team line-up for Sunday’s match against Real Zaragoza at La Rosaleda. Demichelis has been awarded three out of the five yellow cards cycle.
