The team returned to train at La Rosaleda Stadium after two weeks of work at the Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF. At 10:30, Sergio Pellicer’s squad took to the pitch for the second session of the week ahead of the match against RC Deportivo (Sunday 12th October at 21:00).

The main news of the training session was Joaquín, who is undergoing a gradual and partial reintegration. Andrés Céspedes, Rafita, and Ángel Recio also took part in the first-team dynamic.

Remaining out of group training are Niño, Puga, Ramón, Moussa, and the long-term injured players Luismi and Pastor. Meanwhile, Izan Merino started yesterday for Spain in the Under-20 World Cup quarterfinal qualifiers (0-1 against Ukraine).

On Thursday at 10:30, Málaga CF will return to training at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
