“I was keen to make my debut in front of our fans at our ground. It didn’t go as well as we’d hoped, but this has only just started and there’s still a lot of room for improvement. Now we’re focused on Friday’s game against Espanyol and claiming the three points.”
Fans’ support
“The fans are excited, supporting us all the time. (Osasuna) wasn’t an attractive match to watch, but the fans were always encouraging. It’s the beginning of the season, so it’s normal the game play isn’t fluid, but we’re delighted at the support shown over the 90 minutes.”
Espanyol, tough rival
“The good thing about football is that every week you have a chance to make up for any mistakes, and put things right. Next up we’re facing a major team, Espanyol, who have made some very good reinforcements and have big players. It’s going to be incredibly difficult, but we’re hopeful of claiming the three points, and will be working from today onwards to prepare.”

“We now need to focus on the upcoming match. I see my teammates training very well, eager for Friday to arrive to try and claim our first three points of the season. This will increase our confidence and morale, which always helps during the first LaLiga games of the season.”
