Málaga Club de Fútbol’s attacking midfielder, Joaquín Sánchez, held a press conference in the ‘zona mixta’ of the Chapín municipal stadium in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz), following the friendly match against Xerez CD (2-0) held on Saturday 21st July.

"We had several goal opportunities, but they were a lot more forceful, especially after the second goal. The first came as a surprise at the start of the second half.”
“The important thing is to keep playing and get the rhythm of the competition, without injuries.”
“It was our first high-intensity match against a good team. We definitely felt the hard work we’ve been doing during the pre-season, but generally I think we’re all pleased with our strength on the pitch.”
