Joaquín, receives a Cope MAS award for being “a Málaga icon of illusion in the city”
Yesterday, Thursday 1st December, the Málaga branch of the channel Cope, held its sixth annual MAS Awards, in which the Málaga player, Joaquín was awarded for being “the icon of illusion generated in the city by Málaga CF.”
Málaga Club de Fútbol’s midfielder, Joaquín Sánchez, thanked everyone present, plus the thousands of Cope Málaga voters, who gave him the award that honours his career and for being how he is both on and off the pitch.
The Málaga CF player expressed his satisfaction about how things were going for the Málaga squad this season during his first year as a Malaguista and thanked the fans for their constant support.
Amongst the other award-winners were the Unicaja player, Jorge Garbajosa; the singer, Pasión Vega; the politician, Elías Bendodo; and the model Elisabeth Reyes.
