(Current situation) “We know that we’re in a bit of a dip, and we’ve got to change the dynamic and therefore this next match is extremely important for this.  We must get a win, we have a great squad and we’re confident that we can get back to doing what we were doing at the beginning of the season.”
 
“We’re conscious that we’ve no previous credit, so we have to have consistency in the job, get the ball and create more chances.  It’s complicated when you don’t have the option of controlling the game and being behind on the scoreboard which we have been in the last few matches.”
 
“We remain an aggressive team, we’re motivated and we went out ‘all guns blazing’ and with the intention of controlling the match, but it was hard to get into the game, especially with only ten men.  We’ve got to manage these situations and on Sunday we’ve got the potential of getting three important points and that would change everything.”
 
“The confidence in the manager is just the same, no-one’s looking to attribute blame.  Our philosophy is to play the same against any opponent.  The protagonists are the players and we all want the same thing: to play a good match and win.  We’ll do whatever it takes to reverse this situation.”
 
(Possible causes). “The causes are a little bit of everything: us, bad luck, circumstances…which haven’t let us play our best.  The match against Espanyol is vital for morale, the calming down of everyone, and so that we can get back up into the top positions.”
 
“To play in this league, you need all your five senses always sharpened.  Any team can crush you and you can be beaten on any pitch.  But it’s better that it’s happening now than in the future.”
 
(Espayol).  “Espanyol is a team that we know.  They like to play football, they’ve got quality players and the do things properly.  But the important thing is us.  We’re capabaleof being how we were at the beginning, we will win again.”
