Málaga Club de Fútbol’s first squad trained this morning, Friday 28th October, in the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
Manager, Manuel Pellegrini, had nearly all the malaguista squad available to him as the players began with the usual physical, possession, attack-defence, passing and shooting exercises.
After this first part, Seba, Joaquín, Demichelis, Jesús Gámez, Van Nistelrooy, Toulalan, Cazorla and Sergio Sánchez did some recovery work away from the group, although Cazorla and Sergio Sánchez rejoined them to play in the mini match at the end of the session.
With the Venezuelan forward, Salomón Rondón, totally fit, the only absences from the session were Julio Baptista and Kris Stadsgaard, who remained in the gym doing some recovery work on the respective injuries.
The Malaga goalkeepers, Willy Caballero, Rubén and Toni - the only reserve in the session - worked under the orders of goal coach, Xabi Mancisidor.
Tomorrow, Saturday 29th, the team will train at La Rosaleda with all minds focused on Sunday’s match against RCD Espanyol.
