Javi Gracia talks about the importance of the result: “I’m not concerned with the result of today’s match, but about working hard in preparation for the start of the League competition.  We need to keep working as hard as possible in training.  The players are all very tired, and as the days have gone by you can notice that the long journeys have taken their toll.  We didn’t take advantage of promising goal opportunities in this game, and we should have secured a bigger lead.  Fatigue from the long journey here really took over in this second match of the tour.”
 
The Blue and Whites’ coach analyses the Australian tour: “It’s been a positive experience.  We’ve competed against two strong sides which allowed us to see how teams perform in the Australian League.  We’re pleased with this experience.  The level of football I’ve seen here has been good.  The teams are focused on playing the best football possible, and this is a League which is still growing.  We’ll go back home now and continue our pre-season training.”
