‘Malaguista’ coach, Javi Gracia held a press conference this afternoon at La Rosaleda’s press room: “Levante are always an uncomfortable rival,” comments the Navarra-born manager.
Good streak
"We’re hoping to prolong this moment of good results. We are aware that most of the time the results are a consequence of the game played, so we’re looking to maintain this attitude to continue to have options in each match and extend this positive streak.”
Positive dynamic
"It’s extremely important that the work undertaken by the team is accompanied by a good dynamic. Player confidence is paramount and good results generate confidence in our work, they encourage us, excite us and motivate us to continue to perform well. We must strengthen this confidence, but also remain alert, knowing how to get good results.”
Levante, a difficult rival
"I’d like to convince my players and everyone else that the difficulty of facing the bottom team in the First Division is more or less the same as coming up against the co-leaders in our last match. It will be an equally intense game, and I think tomorrow’s match will have the same difficulties as our last. We will have the same intentions, against an opponent that is in great need of points. They are always an uncomfortable rival at a ground that hasn’t served us excessively well in the past, however we would like to change that tendency.”
Wishes for 2016
"I wish everyone happy holidays, and for 2016 we must stay positive, and with regards to the players; respect the injuries and work hard to offer the best game play and results possible so the fans enjoy their team. I think we’ll appreciate 2016 a lot more than 2015.”
