The Malaguista coach affirmed that “the evaluation of the match is clear. We made many more arrivals than the rival, but efficiency in the area defined the match,” he commented. “We have to generate more chances, advantageous situations, that bit of luck in the first half with Kevin’s attempt…With fewer chances, the rival punishes you. They made one or two shots and one went in. Those last few metres are a struggle for us,” said the coach.

In regard to the substitutions, all attacking changes, he said he wanted to “refresh upfront” because “we were doing very well. We were reaching the area and the match was completely under control. The rival was only able to cause danger from set pieces. That’s their best resource,” he said.

When questioned about other matches taking place, Natxo stated: “I’m disappointed at the moment and I’m not concerned with what other teams have done. It’s hard for me to digest that we lost with the game we played. It seems incredible to me that we’re leaving this ground with no points,” he added.
