Important victory on a great stage (0-1)

Supported by more than 2,000 Malaguistas, Pellicer's team defeated Linares Deportivo this Sunday. Roberto scored for the Blue and Whites.

MCF achieved their fourth consecutive victory at a demanding ground. More than 2,000 Malaguistas travelled to Linarejos to cheer on the Blue and Whites on Primera Federación matchday 5.

Pellicer chose the following starting-11: A. Herrero; Jokin, Nelson Monte, Juande, Víctor; Genaro, Sangalli, Kevin, Dani Lorenzo; Dioni and Roberto. The team stepped on to the pitch with difficulties due to the local intensity, although, after the initial minutes, they began to gradually dominate play. The focus was on intense gameplay, alternating possession and more direct attacks.

Roberto was once again the protagonist in front of goal. The Malaguista number '19' scored again this season having already scored three goals. From the left wing, Víctor launched a great cross to the far post where Roberto crossed the ball with a superb header (37').

The team controlled the ball until the end of the first half and, after passing through the dressing room, returned to the pitch with the same line of play. However, as time went on and fatigue set in, the high temperatures and Linares Deportivo substitutions were counteracted by changes from the bench.

Genaro and Dani Lorenzo made way for Juanpe and Larrubia. Subsequently, Manu Molina, Juan Hernández and Loren provided fresh legs throughout the second half. The team, despite the changes to the line-up, maintained a high level.

As the minutes passed, the locals sought to approach Alfonso Herrero's goal, although MCF tempered the match and didn’t allow too many dangerous approaches on their goal.

The referee's final whistle confirmed the three points to the ecstasy of the fans and the team. The fourth win on the bounce for the lads, to total 12 points, one point behind the Primera Federación Group 2 leader.
