Back to work for the Málaga CF squad this morning, the third session of the week, at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium’s facilities. The session kicked off with the usual warm-up, following by possession and finishing exercises, ending with a mini-match on a reduced-sized pitch.
Two new homegrown players were in training with the first team today, Iván Jaime and Hugo. Joining them were Alberto López and Chica, who were in first team training on Tuesday. Injured players, Koné, Mula, Luis Hernández and Iván Rodríguez alternated between work in the gym and on the pitch, under the instruction of physical trainer, Manu Gestoso. Juankar received physiotherapy treatment and remained in the gym with Hicham, who also later moved on to the field of play to undergo specific training. Meanwhile, reserve team players, Keidi and Antoñín focused on preventive work in the gym.
The team will return to training tomorrow, Thursday (10:00, Ciudad de Málaga) to continue preparations for this weekend’s match against Real Ovideo.
