Horta debuts and Amrabat assists in a goal

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s international players were back in action representing their countries. Ricardo Horta, at 19 years of age, made his debut with Portugal, and Amrabat put on a great performance with Morocco against Libya.

Ricardo Horta and Antunes
Ricardo Horta made his official debut with Portugal against Albania, in the Euro 2016 qualifier.  The match was held in Aveiro (Portugal) and ended in a 0-1 defeat for Portugal.  Horta made his debut, joining the game in minute 56, substituting William Carvalho.  The Málaga CF player was incisive on the pitch from the start and generated one of the best chances to equalise, however his powerful shot sailed over the crossbar.  Antunes didn’t have the chance to play in this match.

Amrabat
Nordin Amrabat was part of Morocco’s starting-11 in the international friendly against Javier Clemente’s Libya, in Marrakech.  Amrabat played well for 70 minutes, assisting Barrada in putting Morocco 2-0 in the lead.  The final result was a 3-0 win for Morocco against Libya.

Roberto Chen
The Panamanian defender didn’t take part in his country’s match against Costa Rica in Dallas, Texas, USA.  The Central America Cup game ended in a 2-2 draw.
