Horta and Rosales in action with their national teams
The ‘Malaguista’ internationals’ commitments came to an end last night. Portugal’s Ricardo Horta and Venezuelan-born Roberto Rosales were both in action.
On Monday neither Filipenko nor Mastour were part of the Belarus and Morocco line-ups respectively. Yesterday, striker, Cop was unable to take part in the Malta-Croatia clash (0-1, Perisic) due to suspension. This win gives Croatia a direct pass for Euro 2016.
Yesterday, Ricardo Horta was in Portugal’s starting-11 in the win against Greece (0-4, Guedes, Gelson, Joao Cancelo and Paciencia), the third victory out of three games in the Group 4 qualifying round for the European under-21s championships in 2017. Horta, who was substituted in minute 81, assisted in a goal.
Finally in the early hours of this morning, Roberto Rosales completed his second consecutive match in the starting-11, playing for 90 minutes. Venezuela were defeated by Brazil (3-1, Willian 2 and Ricardo Oliveira), in the second CONMEBOL qualifier for the 2018 World Cup.
