The players, coached by Manuel Hernández Navarrete, defeated one of the most on-form teams in the competition on their visit to Huelva.  The, until now, undefeated hosts welcomed Atlético Málaga, and went on to lose by 3-6.  Blue and Whites’ goal-scorers were: Anita (19’), Janira (21’), Noelia (37’), Laura (48’), Cristina (71’) and Ángela (72’).

Following this win, Málaga CF’s girls continue their successful streak.  With four victories and just one defeat, they are in third place in group 4 of the women’s Second Division.

The Atlético Málaga line-up was made up of: Chelsea, Poti, María (Marina), Cristina, Chus (Ángela), Noé (Encarni), Janira, Anita, Yurena (Cristina), Aurora and Laura.

The ‘Atlético Málaga Cadete’ girls, who compete in the male category, also secured their first win.  They defeated Puerto de la Torre by 2-1.
