Following an intense, lengthy session yesterday, the team returned to training at the Annexe today, kicking off with physical work followed by rounds in groups and technical tactical training with the ball.
The positive news of the day was the return of Hicham Boussefiane to the group dynamic. The Moroccan winger was the only new face in relation to yesterday’s session, in place of homegrown defender, Moussa. ‘Juvenil’ goalkeeper Carlos López and reserve team members Ismael Gutiérrez, Kevin, Roberto, Dani Lorenzo and Benítez were in first team training today.
Outside the group, alternating between training in the gym and specific work under the supervision of physical trainer Toni Tapia, Juande, Chavarría and Luis Muñoz continued with their respective recoveries, as well as Genaro (in Madrid).
Tomorrow, Friday at 10:30, the penultimate session of the week will get underway at La Rosaleda. Coach Natxo González will then hold a press conference around 13:00 ahead of #MálagaAlmería.
