Haksabanovic and Keidi to bring an end to the international duties

Five Blue and White players were called-up by their national teams during the FIFA window this and next week, coinciding with the break in the First Division leagues.

Last Thursday reserve team player Keidi Bare was in action with Albania against Spain, a qualifying match for the U-21 European Championships which the Spanish side won by 3-0.

A day later it was the turn of Haksabanovic and homegrown player Abqar. The winger remained on the bench for the UEFA Nations League clash between Romania and Montenegro (0-0). The central defender didn’t play either, in his case it was the U-23 friendly which Morocco won in Tunisia (0-1).

Last night, Morocco’s first team enjoyed a 3-0 home win against Malawi in a qualifying match for the 2019 Africa Cup, in which Munir was substitute goalkeeper for Girona CF’s Yassine Bounou.

Today, Sunday, N’Diaye’s Senegal drew (2-2) away in Madagascar in another qualifier for the Africa Cup of Nations. The midfielder was in the starting line-up wearing the number ‘13’ jersey with Senegal.
