The Blue and Whites left Málaga airport at 6 p.m. and landed in Las Palmas at 8:30 p.m. (Spanish mainland time). They then immediately travelled by coach to hotel NH Imperial Playa where just under a hundred fans were waiting to welcome the ‘Malaguista’ team.
The group is headed up by Club advisers, Abdullah Ben Barek and Francisco Martín Aguilar, and sports director, Francesc Arnau. The players and coaching team are also accompanied by a group from the Business Club, who amongst their annual activities, join the team on various trips during the season.
The players are now relaxing in the hotel where they’ll remain until tomorrow ahead of the match against UD Las Palmas at the Gran Canaria stadium (Sunday, 6:15 p.m., Spanish mainland time).
Following the game, Málaga CF will return to the Costa del Sol, arriving back in the early hours of Monday morning.
