Germany, Venezuela, Columbia or Miami, could be the destination of the second pre-season stay

Málaga Club de Fútbol 2012/13 season gets underway on Friday 6th July. The season will start with the players undergoing the required medical examinations, held in the ‘Ciudad de Málaga’ Athletics stadium.

Following this, the team will travel to Alicante, where they’ll stay at the Hotel Golf Campoamor, from the 8th to 17th July.  On their return, Manuel Pellegrini’s team will be in training in Málaga until Wednesday 25th July, when they’ll begin the second pre-season stage.  Although several destinations have been considered, the final venue is yet to be determined, as the team has shown an increasing interest in training abroad.  Germany, or another European destination, as well as a tour of America, including Venezuela, Columbia or Miami, are the main choices being considered.  The Martiricos Club are looking at playing a total of eight or nine preparatory matches ahead of their first official game.

Málaga Club de Fútbol will begin their preparation for the 2012/13 season on Friday 6th July.  During the first two days, the team will undergo the required medical examinations, in the ‘Ciudad de Málaga’ Athletics Stadium.  On Sunday 8th July, the team will begin the first group training session, and then travel to Alicante in the afternoon, where they’ll be staying at Hotel Golf Campoamor, the same place as last year.

Much like last season, Málaga Club de Fútbol will have three daily training sessions whilst in Alicante (8 a.m, 11:30 a.m, 7 p.m) alternating with less intense exercises, and ending with a friendly match.

On their return to Málaga, Manuel Pellegrini’s team will undergo double training sessions, ahead of their second pre-season game, against a rival from a lower division.

The Málaga outfit will begin their second pre-season stage on Wednesday 25th July.  Germany or somewhere else in Europe could be an alternative destination, although Venezuela, Columbia or Miami are also possibilities, where the team will take part in friendly matches.  Málaga Club de Fútbol return to the Costa del Sol on Thursday 2nd August.

From Friday 3rd August, the Blue and Whites will alternate training sessions with the last three preparatory matches.  The first two away games, being held on the 4th and 8th August, will take place in Europe.  The last pre-season match will be held at La Rosaleda on Saturday 11th August, corresponding to the Costa del Sol Trophy, and the official presentation of the team in front of the fans.  The rival hasn’t yet been determined, but could be a team from the English Premier League.
