Amongst the main changes, the BBVA League membership also includes the first match of the Copa del Rey, and all members will receive a free ‘Malaguista’ membership card. The campaign gets underway for the European competition held in September, as soon as the team has played the Champions League qualifying match.
Current 2011/12 members can renew their subscriptions for next season, from 4th June until 1st July. Following this, members who wish to change their seat location for the 2012/13 season, can do so on the 3rd and 4th July. From 5th July, new memberships can be purchased, going in strict order of the waiting list, for those in possession of a Málaga membership card.
Members who pay via direct debit, will be charged the first payment for 2012/13, between 1st and 5th July.
Season ticket prices range from 320 euros, for the grandstand in the ‘fondo’ section – 292 euros for renewals – up to 1,484 euros for new adult members in ‘Tribuna’ zone 1 – 1,340 for renewals. There are various different price levels depending on the sector within La Rosaleda stadium, as well as discounts for children, women, over 65’s and young people.
Like in previous seasons, members can benefit from financing options, and can pay their membership fee in four instalments throughout the season.
Changes to the stadium to conform to UEFA standards
Due to the demands of UEFA regulations, several changes need to be made to La Rosaleda stadium, ahead of next season. Málaga Club de Fútbol will be in contact with all members over the next week, whose seat locations may be affected by the changes.
Access for children
There will also be a significant change with regards to security in the stadium, referring to children. Following the UEFA regulations, and Royal Decree 203/2010, article 17, each person must be in possession of their own ticket or membership card, in their own name. Therefore babies and young children without their own ticket will not be permitted inside the stadium.
Waiting list
As soon as all membership renewals have been completed, and new memberships go on sale on 5th July, those on the waiting list from last season, will be invited to purchase season tickets, for seat locations that haven’t been renewed in the different parts of La Rosaleda stadium.
To join the waiting list, you must be in possession of a ‘Malaguista’ membership card.
Málaga Club de Fútbol will be in contact with everyone on the waiting list to give them the possibility to purchase a membership card.
‘Malaguista’ membership card
Málaga Club de Fútbol has created the membership card, in an initiative to establish further links with fans and supporters.
The card will identify the thousands of ‘Malaguista’ fans, form new links and enable fans of Málaga Club de Fútbol to enjoy exclusive offers and benefits.
Everyone who wishes to purchase a season ticket, both for the BBVA League, and for Europe for 2012/13, will need to have a membership card.
However existing members from 2011/12, who wish to renew their membership for the BBVA League next season, will receive the card automatically, without any additional cost above the price of the League or Europe membership fee.
The membership card is also available to fans and supporters who don’t wish to purchase a season ticket for the BBVA or Europe Leagues, but would like to attend certain matches, or just benefit from the offers from the ‘Malaguista’ membership card.
