The Federación Malagueña facilities were decorated for the most anticipated game of the year. With only hours left until the final of the UEFA Champions League, all eyes were on the PARTIDAZO between Málaga Genuine and a combination of Malaguista legends.
The visitors’ team was made up of: Víctor Sánchez del Amo, José Luis Pérez Caminero, Manolo Gaspar, Raúl Iznata, Raquel, Juan Rodríguez, Paula, Nacho Pérez and Duda. All under the orders of the coaching team formed of Abdullah Ben Barek and Francisco Martín Aguilar. Officiating the match was Melero López, a First Division referee. Basti, meanwhile, played with the local side.
Málaga Genuine took the lead no sooner had the match got underway and dominated until the end, although Fair Play reigned throughout. The goals were celebrated by both teams, the referee showed numerous green cards (rewarding fair play) and at the end of play the two sides celebrated the triumph of good football.
