The Chinese city of Liuzhou houses Málaga CF’s first football school in the land of the rising sun. Gato Romero was fortunate to inaugurate this exciting project, born from the union between the Blue and Whites’ Entity and Palestra, the first of a series of similar academies that will be opened all over the country.
Marcelo inaugurated the centre last Sunday, at an event that sparked great excitement and enthusiasm amongst local media. Romero, who landed in Shanghai on 21st July, will return to Spain on the 27th. During his time in China, he will give various seminars and will witness the initial days of this Malaguista school in the Far East.
