Focus on finishing exercises midway through the week

Homegrown player, Mula was in training with the first team today, along with his reserve team teammates; José Carlos, Álex Robles, Kuki, Luis Muñoz, Ontiveros, Aarón and Samu Casado, the latter who retired from the session after sustaining a blow.

The Blue and Whites’ players worked for an hour and a half on the pitch at the Ciudad de Málaga, in a session that kicked off with a warm-up workout and continued with physical exercises and ball work.  The players then took part in mini-matches on a reduced-sized pitch, along with finishing exercises.

A total of eight players from the reserve team were present in this Wednesday’s session.  Mula, who was the new addition, accompanied José Carlos, Álex Robles, Kuki, Luis Muñoz, Ontiveros, Aarón and Samu Casado, who abandoned the session as he struck his left elbow on the post.  The MCF Academy goalkeeper will undergo medical tests to determine his injury.

Juankar trained separately from the others, and underwent preventive work due to the slight strain to his left adductor muscle.  Chory, pending development, stepped on to the pitch to focus on specific work, after retiring from yesterday’s training session due to a contracture to the hamstring in his left leg.

Camacho is still suffering with tonsillitis, whilst the rest of the injured players (Weligton, Keko, Charles, Recio and Kuzmanovic) continued with their recovery work.  Internationals; Rosales, Mikel, Ricca, En-Nesyri and Boyko remain absent due to international commitments.

The team will return to work tomorrow, Thursday from 16:30 at the Ciudad de Málaga.
