Homegrown players, Robles and José Carlos in training with MCF

Málaga CF returned to training today between 10:30 and 12:00 at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. Right-winger, Álex Robles and midfielder, José Carlos were part of first team training.

Work using the ball dominated this morning’s session, which included homegrown players, Álex Robles and José Carlos, as well as Kuki Zalazar at full pace.  Juanpi, was integrated into the group which also included reserve team players; Aarón, Samu Casado and Ontiveros. Luis Muñoz remained in the gym as he recovers from discomfort to the adductor in his right legCamacho was absent, suffering with tonsillitis.

During the final stage of the session, Chory Castro retired early as a precaution.  The Uruguayan has a contracture to his left hamstring, pending development.  Charles continues with conservative treatment on his injury, whilst Weligton, Keko, Kuzmanovic and Recio alternated between a gym workout and anti-gravity Alter-G running sessions, on a machine that reduces body weight for therapeutic reasons.

En-Nesyri, Boyko, Rosales, Mikel and Ricca are on international duty today with their respective countries.

Tomorrow, Wednesday from 10:30, the Blue and Whites’ first team will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
