Flávio: “If we win at Vallecas we’ll keep moving forwards”

The Málaga Club de Fútbol player held this morning’s post-training press conference.

Flávio Ferreira, who is part of the Blue and Whites’ defence, wants to keep improving on the pitch: “I’m feeling great now and working hard.  I’m no longer suffering from any injuries.  I came to Málaga CF to play football, which is what I’m doing now.  I want to carry on training hard and continue to be an option for the coach. There’s still a lot more of me to give, and I’ve got room for improvement.  I’m still young and have a lot to learn with this team.”

The Portuguese-born central defender sees the latest additions to the team as a positive step, and hopes the team will stay on the winning track on Saturday: “The match at the Vallecas stadium is an important one, as if we win we’ll keep moving forwards.  We’re a bit more relaxed now and are working as hard as we can to come home with three points at the weekend.”

Lastly, following yesterday’s visit to the ‘Malaguista’ supporters’ club in Almargen, Flávio talks about the importance of the Blue and Whites’ fans: “It’s always good to have contact with our fans and visit the ‘peñas’ that are always behind us and supporting the team.”
