First session under the orders of Víctor Sánchez del Amo

The new Blue and Whites’ coach directed his first session with Málaga CF this Monday afternoon. President Sheikh Al Thani was in attendance for Víctor’s first session at La Rosaleda’s annexe.

Víctor Sánchez debuted at the helm of the first team, along with his assistants David Dóniga (assistant coach), Nacho Oria (physical trainer), Koke Contreras (goalkeeping coach who ‘moves up’ from the reserve team) and Carlos Morales (analyst).

Following a technical talk, first in the dressing room at La Rosaleda and then on the pitch at the Annexe, the team kicked-off training at 18:30, prioritising technical work with the ball.

A total of 26 players, including goalkeepers Munir, Kieszek, Werner and Cengo (without ‘ficha’) plus 22 pitch players, were training at full pace. Iván Rodríguez, Harper, Keidi and Hicham were the homegrown players present in today’s first team session.

Out of the group dynamic were the non-physically fit Juankar, Koné, Pacheco and Brezancic.

President of the Club, Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani, accompanied by CEO of the MCF Academy and president of MCF Femenino, Hamyan Al Thani, watched the team in training, together with members of the sports management headed up by José Luis Pérez Caminero.

Tomorrow, Tuesday from 10:00, Málaga CF will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium’s facilities.
