Following a day off yesterday, the Malaguistas returned to the Annexe at 09:00 this morning. José Alberto headed up a session featuring rounds, restart exercises and possession work. Dani Martín was the main new addition to the session. After accompanying the group to the two friendlies in Marbella, today he underwent his first training session with his new teammates.
Escassi was absent as he sustained a blow to the right calf muscle during Saturday’s match against UD Almería. Meanwhile, Ismael returned to the group following his home quarantine.
Tomorrow at 09:00 training will get underway at La Rosaleda’s facilities. In the afternoon the team will head to Hotel Alhaurín Golf, where they’ll remain until Saturday.
