The Malaguista squad was in training this morning (09:00) at the Annexe and La Rosaleda Stadium. The morning session headed up by José Alberto was divided into two blocks, comprising of a series of strength and tactical exercises.
The main new face today was the latest Malaguista signing, Peybernes. The French centre-back underwent his first training session with the team after he officially signed to the Club yesterday afternoon.
Benkhemassa was absent from today’s session due to a blow to the right quadriceps. Escassi continued training outside the group in the gym due to discomfort to the right calf muscle. Meanwhile, Haitam is scheduled to re-join the group tomorrow. The remaining injured players carried out specific training in the gym.
Training will kick-off at 09:00 tomorrow in Alhaurín, where the team will remain in concentration until Saturday.
