We’re at a crucial moment. Normality is gradually returning to our lives, cautiously, but here to stay. Times are hard to predict, but what is certain is that we are heading in the right direction.
If everything goes well, we’ll soon have you back with us at La Rosaleda. As such, we’ve developed a plan with different phases, taking into account the possible scenarios in which we could find ourselves at the beginning of the 21/22 season.
The main objective of this criteria is to protect your health and rigorously adhere to the current regulations.
Possible scenarios:
Total closure of the stadium
We don't even want to think about it. Obviously, if this is the case, we will not be able to offer you access to the stadium.
Opening with capacity limitation
In this scenario, ticket sales will be done taking into account the privileges of the ‘+ Viento & Marea’, ‘Patronos’ and the ‘Fieles Malaguistas’ – we’ll explain what this is a little later. Waiting lists will be established if necessary and access will be distributed in the first matches. The Season Ticket will not be on sale, but the Dynamic Season Ticket will be available, our ‘Deseo Malaguista’ that you’ll find out about shortly.
Opening of 50% capacity (15,000 people)
The Season Ticket will not as yet be enabled, but a greater number of tickets and ‘Deseo Malaguista’ tickets will be offered, necessary to guarantee the availability of the stands.
Full opening, absolute normality
The Season Ticket, our ‘Genio Malaguista’, will return, but we’ll also maintain the Dynamic Season Ticket. Access to those who chose this option at the end of the 19/20 campaign will be compensated, as we promised.
New formats:
‘Fiel Malaguista’ (Loyal Malaguista)
We abandon the concept of the season ticket as a way of linking to the Club. The ‘Fiel Malaguista’ revolutionises this relationship, making it more permanent and organic. Amongst other factors, it allows you to keep the number and seniority (or create one in case of a new registration), regardless of whether you are going to occupy a seat at the stadium or not. An endless union that continues at the end of the regular season and which knows no distance. As a ‘Fiel Malaguista’ you can go to the stadium or not, but you will enjoy all the advantages attributed to being a season ticket holder, even if you live thousands of kilometres from here.
This formula is available to the general public at a price of €2.90 per month, €15.90 every six months or €29 per year. For children - up to 12 years old – the price is €2.50 per month, €13.90 every six months or €25 per year.
For newborns we have the possibility of making them loyal Malaguistas for €1.90 per month, €10.50 every six months or €19 in their first year of life - without the option of a seat. To welcome them, our Malaguista babies will receive a Blue and White gift pack.
In this way, if you are ‘Fiel Malaguistas’ you will have purchase preference in the event of a partial opening of the stadium.
When the Season Ticket is available, if you wish to purchase one you must be previously registered as a ‘Fiel Malaguista’. This is mandatory. Don’t worry though. This process will not mean an increase in the final price, as we’ll adjust the amount so you won’t notice a difference.
To reward all ‘+ Viento y Marea’ holders for their unconditional support over the past season, the Club is gifting them their first year as a ‘Fiel Malaguista’. If this is you, congratulations! You are already a ‘Fiel Malaguista’ and you can enjoy all the privileges.
‘Deseo Malaguista’ (Malaguista Wish) Dynamic Season Ticket
This came about as a solution for limited capacity, but it is here to stay. This ticket allows you to make a wish. You want six, eight, 10 or 21 passes? Perfect, granted! However, check this out. You’re buying PASSES that you can use alone in several matches or with different companions in the same match.
This season ticket isn’t associated with a seat, but a stand. You buy, for example, a Dynamic Season Ticket in the ‘Preferencia’ section and you’ll always be located in this area. However, your seat will depend on availability and the number of companions you come with.
The ‘Deseo Malaguista’ has several peculiarities. You’ll need to reserve your place, as you select which matches you’re going to attend. If you don’t notify us, you may find that there is no capacity available in your area. Likewise, don’t leave it until the last minute or you might lose some of the matches acquired.

We are committed to digital access, whether it is the Season Pass (‘Genio Malaguista’), Dynamic (‘Deseo Malaguista’) or individual ticket. Our app, a benchmark in professional football, will be your personal wallet with which you can access La Rosaleda and make the most of the discounts and benefits.

I’m a lifelong season ticket holder. How do I renew?
It’s very simple. You renew as a ‘Fiel Malaguista’, unless you are ‘+ Viento y Marea’, then you are already a ‘Fiel Malaguista’ for free during the first year. Your location will not be available until capacity is completely open, but once we’re back to normal, your seat will be waiting for you.
If I’ve always renewed automatically, how do I do it now?
Keep in mind that we are in the middle of all this change. We won’t be able to renew you automatically, but the procedure is very straightforward. From next Wednesday 9th June, you’ll be able to register as a ‘‘Fiel Malaguista’ by following the steps outlined on our website. Once you choose your classic season ticket (‘Genio Malaguista’), we’ll renew your ticket automatically if you so request.
Will I be able to sit in my seat in August?
This will depend on many factors. In the case of a full capacity opening, yes of course. In the event of a partial opening, it will be impossible for us to guarantee it. Don’t forget that we won’t be able to open up the entire grandstand, so the location will depend on availability.
If the Season Ticket isn’t available, how do I become a ‘Fiel Malaguista’?
The ‘Fiel Malaguista’ allows you to keep enjoying the season ticket holder benefits and discounts in the MCF Store, specific promotions and priority in the purchase of ‘Deseo Malaguista’ and individual tickets in the event of a partial opening. All for a fee of €2.90 per month.
If the Season Ticket is available in December, will you charge me the full season price from August? Doesn't seem fair to me...
Nor to us. Don’t worry, we’ll adjust the price to the season ticket, your ‘Genio Malaguista’, in proportion to the matches that are remaining. Likewise, we’ll also take into account that you already pay €29 a year with the ‘Fiel Malaguista’ ticket so it doesn’t cost you any more.
If I choose the ‘Deseo Malaguista’ option to watch six games and on the fourth I can purchase the ‘Genio Malaguista’, what can I do?
Keep in mind that what you buy are passes, you can donate the excess ones to family and friends, or you can exchange them for a proportional discount (that is, we would discount those two games not enjoyed in your ‘Genio Malaguista’ season ticket).
I want to purchase a season ticket for the first time, how do I do it?

If the stadium opens partially and I am not a Malaguista, can I buy a ticket?
Of course, as long as there’s availability. The ‘Patronos’ and ‘Fieles Malaguistas’ take priority, but if there’s excess capacity, we’ll make it available to the general public.
I’m a ‘+Viento y Marea’, do I need to become a ‘Fiel Malaguista’ to maintain my ticket purchase priority?
As explained previously, the ‘+Viento y Marea’ holders will automatically become a ‘Fiel Malaguista’ free of charge for the first year. To buy tickets just login to the private area.
I was affected by the closure of the Stadium in 2020, who chose the compensation of 6 tickets or a 20% discount on my next renewal. When will I be compensated?
As we explained, when there are no capacity restrictions. Keep in mind that if you chose the 6 tickets you can convert them into a 20% discount on your season ticket renewal, an option that is more beneficial.
What if I am already a season ticket holder, and I prefer the 6-ticket option instead of the 20% discount?
We will compensate you with a dynamic season ticket for the six games not enjoyed. These can be used by family and friends.
I want a ‘Genio Malaguista’, but I was affected by the closure so I’ll wait to acquire it after the six compensation matches. Can I do that?
Yes, but you risk losing your seat location, as it will only be reserved for a period of time. In addition, the price of the season ticket will be adjusted to the matches that it will be available to, not those that remain when you purchase it. As we said before, for any holder it is better to choose the 20% discount option, since, if you do not do it at the time the option is available, you will lose your seat.
