The time and date have now been announced for the start of Liga Reto Iberdrola, in which Málaga CF Femenino will be competing this 2019/20 season. The Blue and Whites will be heading to Badajoz to face Liberbank Santa Teresa.
The match will kick off at 12:00 on Sunday 8th September at IDM El Vivero.
History
This will be the first time Santa Teresa and Málaga CF Femenino will play one another in an official match under the “Málaga CF” name for the Malaguista squad. However, there have been two matches in history between these rivals. Both teams played each other in the 12/13 season, when the Blue and Whites were called “Atlético Málaga”. A year later, in the 13/14 campaign – when the Extremeñas moved up to the First Division - they competed against one another again. Both games ended in victory for the team from Badajoz.
