María Ruiz, called-up to Spain’s U-19s

The forward from Almáchar (Málaga), María Ruiz will make her international debut having been called-up for the first time by the Spain women's national under-19 team.

The forward, who scored the goal that led to First Division promotion in the 2017/18 season, and a regular in the starting line-up in Liga Iberdrola, in which she scored three goals, has been called-up by U-19 national team coach, Pedro López.

Spain will play the ‘Azzurra’ rival on 1^st and 3^rd September in two friendly fixtures taking place in San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia). The Blue and White forward will join the national team on 31^st August.
