The Malaguista expedition departed from the Costa del Sol airport at 10:30 this morning, with president, Abdullah Al Thani and vice president Nasser Al Thani at the helm; 20 called-up players, including new signing, Luis Hernández; the coaching team, headed up by Marcelo Romero; Club advisers; Abdullah Ben Barek and Francisco Martín Aguilar; and sports director, Francesc Arnau.
The group is now resting at hotel Iruña park in the Navarran capital, where they’ll remain until hours before the match that opens this weekend’s League fixtures.
Málaga CF will be in action at El Sadar at 20.45 (GolT), and will return after the game, following a less than 24-hour trip.
