Explainer for all Malaguista season ticket holders
Málaga CF wishes to clarify any doubts that have arisen amongst fans regarding the 20% discount on the purchase of the next season ticket, which will go on sale when health guidance permits matches to be open to the public.
The Martiricos Entity issues a statement to all season ticket holders with the objective of resolving any doubts Malaguistas may have in terms of the previous statement regarding the options available for a refund or compensation for not being able to enjoy all the matches last season, 2019/20.
For those Málaga CF season ticket holders who selected the option of obtaining a 20% discount, the Entity would like to clarify that this discount will come into effect once the season tickets for the upcoming campaign are on sale. These season tickets will be available to the public once the relevant institutions – in compliance with all health protocol – decide that matches can once again be played in front of a crowd. At that time, regardless of the date when it occurs, the Club will make the season tickets available to fans, at a special price that will vary according to the number of matches remaining at La Rosaleda.
As such, the 20% discount will be applied to this fixed price and not on a full season ticket due to the fact that the first matches will more than likely be played behind closed doors.
The Club is aware of the complex situation it faces and knows that the measures in place to safeguard public health could mean that fans will only be able to watch a very limited number of matches. As such, Málaga CF will study the possibility of unifying the remaining matches of 20/21 with the following 21/22 season. Should this be the case, the 20% discount will be applied to this unified season ticket.
