Meanwhile, Denys Boyko was the usual substitute goalkeeper for Pyatov in the Croatia-Ukraine clash (1-0, Kalinic), corresponding to the Group I European qualifier for the 2018 Russia World Cup. Following five matches, Croatia lead the table (13 points), ahead of Iceland (10 points) and Ukraine (8 points).
