Málaga CF Femenino’s season gets underway in one month

The fixture list for Group 3 of the Segunda Federación de Fútbol Femenino has now been officially confirmed, with the Blue and White women’s first team set to compete in the division once again this season.

Héctor Díaz's side, who finished second in the regular league season last campaign and went on to compete in the promotion playoffs for Primera Federación, will begin the 2026/27 season on the weekend of 5th-6th September.

As in the previous campaign, the third tier of Spanish women's football will once again feature three groups. Málaga CF Femenino remain in Group 3 alongside 13 other teams: UD Almería, CD Femarguín SPAR Gran Canaria, CD Argual, CDB FF Olympia Las Rozas, Córdoba CF, EM Féminas Soliss Fuensalida, CD Getafe Femenino, Granada CF ‘B’, Guiniguada Apolinario CD, CF Pozuelo de Alarcón, Sección Deportiva Fundación Real Betis, CD Sporting Club and Cacereño Femenino Atlético.

The league season will consist of 26 matches, beginning on 6th September 2026 and concluding on 2nd May 2027. Málaga CF Femenino will open the campaign at the Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF against Canary Islands side Guiniguada Apolinario, before bringing the season to a close at home against Madrid outfit CDB FF Olympia Las Rozas.
