Cadete 'A', a Blue and White future generation

Málaga CF’s Cadete 'A' team, led by Alejandro Rodríguez, won the División de Honor league championship in the recently ended 22/23 season. The Club wanted to recognise this achievement with some commemorative trophies.

Málaga CF has a magnificent generation of footballers within the Cadete 'A' team. The 91 goals scored and just 26 conceded transformed into 76 points that saw them win the División de Honor championship.

The boys coached by Alejandro Rodríguez have demonstrated footballing and personal quality, forming a great working group. “It’s the first step to continue winning in the future. The main objective is to train and develop the players, but we are preparing them to reach professional football, in which they have to compete,” the coach stated.

Ander and Salva, two of the team captains, reviewed the season to the MCFTV cameras. Ander focused on the “honour” of winning the title in “such a difficult category, with youth teams like Sevilla, Betis, Granada, Almería...”

Whereas Salva highlighted the human side of the group. “Since we were little, these values have been instilled in us. First, to train us as people, and then to be able to win good titles. Based on good play and values, Málaga is taking us to a very good place. This year, as well as winning the league, we have been a very good team and a good generation,” said the Malaguista Cadete.

As a sign of recognition for their great season, Málaga CF wanted to present commemorative trophies to the entire team, the players and the coaching staff.

The Academy is synonymous with the future. Congratulations guys!
