Framework Agreement boosts psychology in grassroots football

The Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF recently hosted a new activity under the Framework Agreement, focusing on psychology for young footballers.

Málaga CF organised an activity under the Framework Agreement, highlighting the Club’s commitment to the holistic development of grassroots football in the province.

The session focused on “Psychological Processes Involved in the Training and Performance of Young Footballers,” delivered as a presentation by the Psychology Department of the MCF Academy, which also operates within the MCF Foundation.

During the session at the club’s training facility, key aspects of behaviour and mental preparation at early ages were discussed, with a focus on essential psychological tools to enhance learning, boost performance, and support the emotional well-being of developing players.

The event saw strong attendance from coaches and coordinators of clubs affiliated with the Framework Agreement, who actively engaged and expressed keen interest in integrating these resources into their daily sports practice.

The organisation continues to promote a collaborative and educational work model, underscoring the importance of psychology as a key pillar in the development of young football talent in Málaga.
