Rafael Garrido Hierro (Vélez-Málaga, 09/11/2004) is a right-back who was converted from playing as a winger in his youth, with great range to cover the entire flank on his side.
After progressing through youth ranks at provincial clubs such as Puerto Malagueño and EF Francisco Castejón, he joined the Málaga CF U-19 ‘A’ team from CD San Félix for the 22/23 season.
Rafita made the step up to Atlético Malagueño in 2023, and last season he was a key player in the promotion to the Segunda RFEF achieved by the Blue and Whites under Funes. This season, he has played 5 matches for Malagueño, completing every minute.
On 5th October 2025, he officially made his debut with Málaga CF against Racing de Santander. Since then, and having recently turned 21, he has made 7 appearances with the first team.
