(First pre-season match) “After a week of intense training, these matches are always good for the team.  The most important thing was to perform well on the pitch, do as much physical work as possible, and if we scored goals as well, then great.  We don’t really need to concentrate on the results for now, as we need to make sure we’re all at our best physically.”
 
(European competition) “This is what we all want, and what we’re all working towards.  We know there are a lot of major teams involved, but last year we qualified for the Champions League play-offs, and now we’re just 180 minutes away to achieving our dream.”
 
(Match philosophy) “Why would we make any changes?  Our style of play has got us to where we are today, and I think it’s important that we maintain our philosophy, and always strive for improvement.”
