The great captain was surrounded by members of the first team, and accompanied by Club advisers and Club employees, as well as his family and friends. Escorted by sports director, Francesc Arnau, and wearing his Blue and White shirt, Duda spoke to the media, accompanied by the medical team and first team equipment managers. “We already know the reason for being here today. I wish to announce my departure from this Club, after 13 years wearing this shirt. It’s been an honour for me to play over 300 matches defending this shield. Sunday will be my last match as a Málaga player. Following my two teammates (Demichelis and Weligton), today it’s my turn”.

Pride

“It’s important to follow this path and thank you for counting on me over the years. I leave here happy to have done my bit towards the growth of this Club. It filled me with pride to watch Málaga fight in Europe and see the fans enjoying their team consolidated in the First Division”.
