Double session after a day off from training

Málaga CF returned to training this Tuesday morning at the Federación Malagueña de Fútbol ground. As usual, there were numerous homegrown players under the orders of Sergio Pellicer.

Following a day off on Monday, the team returned to training on this third week of the preseason. Physical training was given priority from 9am, whilst in the final stages of the session the ball took centre stage, with mini-matches and technical-tactical work.

All available first team players were in action this morning, with José Rodríguez and Benkhemassa fully integrated. Outside the group were Pacheco, Diego González and Boulahroud, who have all been suffering with physical problems since the end of last season.

The MCF Academy was again heavily featured in today’s training. Goalkeepers Gonzalo and Strindholm were in action, along with defenders Benítez and recently renewed Juande, Cristo and Ismael; midfielders Ramón, Quintana, Larrubia and Mini; and forwards Julio, Mike, Hoyos and Issa Fomba.

The second session of the day will get underway later today at 7pm at the Federación Malagueña. Tomorrow, Wednesday also at 7pm, the second friendly of the preseason will kick off against Cádiz CF at the Dama de Noche Football Pitches (Marbella).
