Dely: “The only thing I didn’t like was the result”

The Blue and Whites’ reserve team coach analysed the narrow defeat by San Fernando CD in the first league game: “Our job as reserve team is that these guys compete and show a good level of football in a category that is superior to that of last season”.

Good work

“The only thing I didn’t like was the result, but the boys’ work on the pitch was very good. Our job as reserve team is that these guys compete and show a good level of football in a category that is superior to that of last season. They must use this match as a reference and from here on in continue to grow, as we’re still lacking things”.

Preparation

“The preparations were so long, but at last the competition has arrived and now it’s time to coach the team to continue along this line”.

As well as the coach, Blue and Whites’ goalkeeper, Kellyan appeared in the mixed zone: “I see the team able to compete in 2ªB"

Good sensations

“In the end the sensations are good as I see the team able to compete in this category. At first you have a degree of uncertainty, it’s a new category, a very young team, but the team was pretty solid. We created a few chances but unfortunately, we were unable to convert, and in football you pay the price. They arrived once and scored a goal, but that’s the game”.

Improve ready for Marbella

“There’s no point focusing on this game now. We’ve played the match and cannot change the result. What we can do is improve in time for next week’s match, the Málaga derby against Marbella, to see if we can achieve our first away win. I think the team is capable”.

Fans

“On behalf of the team I’d like to thank the fans for their support, they are like another member of the team. You can really feel their support in the final minutes, when the referee made an error they were behind us all the way, and we feel very well supported by them. They give us a boost and are very important to us”.
