The MCF Academy continues to provide players of international quality. One of them is David Larrubia, an attacking midfielder from the Juvenil ‘A’ team who has already debuted this season with Atlético Malagueño in the Third Division.
Larrubia took part in a preparation match with the national U-17 squad ahead of the World Cup of the category, taking place next month in Brazil. Coach, David Gordo selected the Blue and White player for the starting line-up in the duel against Qatar that was decided by a goal from UD Las Palmas player, Pedro González (0-1, 45’).
Tomorrow, Monday at 19:30, at the Aspire Stadium in Doha, the second match between Spain’s U-17s and Qatar will get underway.
