Dani Sánchez: “The team deserved the three points”

The Malaguista full-back appeared in the mixed zone following the draw against UD Ibiza in Can Misses. “It’s very important not to lose, but, above all, we’re upset we didn’t claim the three points,” he said.

Good team performance

“We had opportunities to win the game, but the feelings are totally contrary to what we had against Córdoba. In today's game the team stood up to the rival. We made Ibiza uncomfortable, and I think the team deserved the three points. We’re looking forward to next week. We want the three points, we want a win.”

Together we’re stronger

“The competitive mentality is what makes us strong. United we are unstoppable, both the fans and team. We have a strong mentality. We have been moving forward together and, despite the circumstances being against us, the team has been rebuilt, this should be valued.”

11 matches on the bounce without defeat

“This is a long road and we’re in November. Ibiza are up there, we are competing with them to be at the top, but the matches and the competition are very long. The important thing is that the team remains undefeated. It’s very important not to lose, but, above all, we’re upset we didn’t claim the three points.”

Happy for Haitam

“Haitam is a differential player. I get along really well with him. I am lucky to have given him the pass for the goal, although they gave the assist to Larrubia. Very happy for him because it is difficult to return to competition pace.”

Eager for three points

“We are really looking forward to next week as the team wants to win those three points. We really want to get back to winning ways, the team needs to gain confidence again. We are leaving disappointed because I think we did a good job with the ball and in defence, phenomenal.”

United

“Defensively, the team is great. It’s very difficult to score goals and we are a strong team. Happy for the team, congratulations to the lads.”
