The Asturian keeper is “very happy with the result, which is the most important thing. The team looked good on the pitch, they were incredible and with the fans it was as if we had another player. It’s amazing how this stadium pushes the team forward and the fans give their all for the team,” he said.
The goalkeeper enjoyed a good Malaguista debut: “They had two dangerous opportunities, but I remember one that I saw well and reacted in time. By keeping a clean sheet you always score points which is the most important.”
“This is a team to enjoy, with young players, hunger and with this support we’re giving 300 per cent,” said Dani Martín who is very happy from a personal point of view. “Following a tough year of injuries, it’s hard, it was practically a blank year. Enjoying a stadium like this again is incredible, thanks to the fans for their unconditional support,” he added.
