The break in competition, owing to the internationals taking part in the scheduled FIFA action, means that the Blue and Whites will fulfil an agreement it struck in June. As was agreed, Málaga Club de Fútbol will participate in a friendly free of charge, to financially assist the Córdoba team.
This collaboration with Córdoba Club de Fútbol, is part of the agreement which saw Málaga Club de Fútbol take on Real Jaén in the Olive Trophy, Cádiz Club de Fútbol in the Ramón de Carrazna Trophy and against Xerez Club Deportivo in the Vendimia Trophy earlier in the season.
