Contreras: “As the game went on, we were the better side”
The Málaga Femenino coach analyses the victory against Santa Teresa, as well as the league break before facing Granada: “It’s come at a good time for us as there are players who could arrive in better conditions”.
Less to more
“The rival wasn’t easy, in the first round they made it difficult for us and did things well. Here they started off very involved in the game, but as it went on, we were the better side. I think we could have gotten a bigger win as we generated opportunities to score more goals. Subsequently we tried to reserve some players so they all arrive well to the next match”.
Next match against Granada Femenino
“In this league all the matches are matches of the year, so it’s important that we view the game against Granada as one more, but that it falls in our favour”.
League break
“It’s come at a good time for us as there are players who could arrive in better conditions with another week of work. At the end of the day this is football, so we’ll see if it’s good or bad after the match”.
