El Málaga Club de Fútbol quiere mostrar su más sentido pésame por la muerte de Juan Arza, quien fuera jugador del Málaga en los inicios de los años 40, que falleció ayer domingo en Sevilla víctima de una larga enfermedad a los 88 años.

The ‘Golden Boy’ from Navarra started out in the blue and white club before he left for Sevilla aged 20, where he remained from 1943 until 1959 playing in 349 league games and scoring 182 goals, including receiving a ‘Pichichi’ trophy. As a sevillista icon, it is not in vane that many fans consider him to be one of the best players in the history of Sevilla F.C., Málaga C.F. would like to send its deepest condolences at this difficult time to the family and friends of Juan Arza, as well as all sevillismo in general.
