II F-7 CALVIA SOCCER CUP 2019 TOURNAMENT
This tournament was held between 26th and 30th December in Mallorca, with the MCF Alevín (under-12s) proclaimed runners-up, after losing out in the final to Real Betis Balompié (1-2).
In addition, the MCF Benjamín (Under-10s) reached the quarter-finals, and were eliminated by Portuguese side, FC Porto (0-1).
ON SPORTS WINTER INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT
The sports centre in Arroyo de la Miel hosted the Benalmádena-based tournament for the Infantil, Alevín, Benjamín and Prebenjamín categories between 27th and 29th December.
Málaga CF reached the semi-finals in three of the categories. The Alevín 2008 didn’t manage to get to the final, following a 1-1 draw with El Palo FC, who won 2-1 on penalties; the Benjamínes (Under-09) were defeated in the semis against an RFEF team (1-2); and in the Prebenjamín category (Under-08), Club Atlético de Madrid beat the young Blue and White team in the final by 2-4.
I FUENGIROLA UN SOL DE CIUDAD TOURNAMENT
Last Saturday 28th December, Fuengirola’s Santa Fe de Los Boliches Stadium hosted this tournament, of Alevín category (Under-12s), in which the Malaguistas achieved victories in the group stage against Fuengirola, Benamiel and Marbella, and defeats against Sevilla FC and Córdoba CF.
